Project Title:
Pain Points in the process of chemistry teaching
Project Description (maximum 300 words):

Traditional chemistry education exhibits limitations in the deduction of the microscopic world;If we use AI to empower chemistry classes,turn the abstract words in the textbook into animations or videos,students will have a better understanding of the structure。
This report is divided into three parts. In the first part, I pointed out the problems existing in traditional teaching when explaining the structure . Then, from before class, during class and after class, I described how chemistry teachers can use AI to empower chemistry classrooms. Finally, after attempting to rewrite most of the structures in the textbooks into animations using deepseek, The problems that still exist in AI-empowered chemistry classes have been discovered.
In addition to presenting the methods of AI empowering chemistry classes,this project also includes four actual teaching cases and three algorithm programs written with AI, for all educators to discuss with each other。

1.Problem Identification and Relevance in Education (Maximum 300 words)

During daily teaching,I try to bring technology into the classroom。But,The existing approaches to visualizing the microscopic world still have the many problems。For example,I often use Ball-and-stick modes or balloons to build different molecular structures for students。But,in this way,the dynamic process cannot be displayed。I also attempted to draw the unit cell structure using traditional software,the preparation time for the class is a little longer,but the actual operation time is relatively short。It is because I found the above problems in the course of preparing and teaching, and I began to try to seek the help of AI。

Technical Implementation
Before the class:
Give deepseek an instruction:Designing an html file that needs to show the structure of CaF2
Then,Put forward text requirements, combined with the textbook legend to revise。
During the class:
Establish a connection between deepseek and other chemical software ,obtain the usage steps ,which make the teaching process more strict。
After the class:
Create a Webpage with deepseek where students can submit their assignments and display。

Traditional software can be used to deal with the structure of substances, and AI can also be used to guide the teaching process. It can be used in combination with conventional drawing/structure software to improve office efficiency and reduce the difficulty of use。

4. Scalability and Sustainability (Maximum 300 words)

I believe that the study of this issue has the significance of sustainable development。
It is very convenient to write programs with Deepseek to assist teachers in teaching, but it cannot successfully draw all the models。For example,When I attempted to use AI to draw animations of “effective collision ”,I find the process of bond formation and bond breaking is too simple。If teachers are not familiar with programming, it can be difficult to achieve instant pausing of animations and correct programming mistakes。

5. Social Impact and Responsibility (Maximum 300 words)

The emergence of AI helps students understand abstract concepts and redefine the teaching methods in the education industry.。We can have a conversation with deepseek and let it help us write a string of code or create an animation。Through simple operations, teachers can quickly create high-quality animations , which can provide students with a richer learning experience。
