Effective emergency planning in schools presents challenges for many teachers and pupils. Many times lacking reality, traditional safety drills fail to include pupils, and they neglect individual learning needs. Students who feel unprepared and nervous in actual crises may thereby jeopardize their safety and well-being. Teachers may also struggle to determine which pupils have acquired the required safety skills or require more help. Lack of adaptive practice and tailored feedback causes some pupils to repeat errors while others are not sufficiently challenged. This issue influences not just school life but also families and the larger society since students might not be ready to react properly and calmly to different threats.
The answer is an artificial intelligence enhanced immersive virtual reality emergency training system. Students engage in very realistic, multi-hazard VR simulations with customizable difficulty and branching narratives. To produce individualized feedback, artificial intelligence systems examine data including heart rate, response time, decision quality, and attention tracking. Following performance, safety topics are clarified, questions are answered, and focused practice drills are recommended by an interactive AI chatbot acting as a virtual tutor post-session. While computer programming drives the VR environment, data collecting, AI analytics, and chatbot interactions, computational thinking is employed to split apart emergency reactions into decision points. This method guarantees that every student gets actionable feedback and adaptive, mastery-based training.
This is better since it uses artificial intelligence and immersive technology to produce tailored, interesting, and successful emergency ready training. It guarantees pupils experience and mastery of practical skills by simulating genuine, high-stress scenarios unlike conventional drills. With customized feedback and guidance, the adaptive artificial intelligence guarantees that every student advances at their own speed. By means of interactive reflection, gamification, and goal-setting, the AI chatbot increases knowledge and preserves motivation. While inclusion guarantees accessibility for different learners, educators get practical knowledge to support every student. This strategy guarantees no student is left behind, supports quality, lifetime safety education, and fits SDG 4.
